We have just improved the xTONIC APY display to show an average of the last 7 days rather than the old 'Yesterday's APY,' which during volatile markets may vary significantly and cause confusion to our users. Do also remember that the xTONIC rewards are not per block and are distributed to stakers once or a few times a day, so the ratio of xTONIC to TONIC will also only update at those intervals accordingly. Hey Tectonians, We hear your concerns regarding the reentrancy bug surrounding compound forks. The team has done a thorough internal assessment and has also confirmed with our external auditor, Blocksec, that we are safe from the exploit. Your funds are safu! 🌋

Hey Tectonians, Sincerest apologies to everyone with regards to the APY reflecting as 0% over the past couple of days. As mentioned, this issue was bigger than we thought and thus why the bout of inconvenience lasted longer than it should. Initially the cause was that the buyback bot ran out of gas so no buyback was possible and it was promptly resolved by topping it up with gas fee. However, the cause of the most recent issue was related to the reward bot that manages TONIC rewards distribution. We automatically top-up the subsidy reward bot, but there was an issue in one of the top-up transactions that caused the bot to pause temporarily. This issue has been resolved and the backlogged rewards have been distributed to stakers. Using this chance, we would like to touch on the communication aspect as we've received numerous feedback on this front, we hear you loud and clear. The team is working on it and we look to serve you, the community better in the coming weeks. Once again, apologies for the inconvenience and we sincerely thank you for the continued support :)
